Filatex India Limited — Results, 10-06-2025: Reply to Clarification- Financial results
Filatex India has announced a board meeting on July 8, 2025, to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year.
Q4FY25 revenue rose to Rs. 1,080 Cr (+5.3% YoY), with EBITDA at Rs. 75.7 Cr (+17%), and net profit up 19% to Rs. 41.4 Cr. Production and sales volumes remained stable around 96,500 MT.
For FY25, revenue slightly declined to Rs. 4,252 Cr versus Rs. 4,286 Cr last year, but EBITDA increased to Rs. 257.7 Cr (+7.7%) and net profit grew 21.6% to Rs. 134.6 Cr. Production and sales volumes saw a moderate dip (~3-4%).
EBITDA margins improved modestly despite flat volumes, supported by expectations of gains from import restrictions and tariffs.
Capex plans have been revised with Dahej’s Fully Drawn Yarn (FDY) capacity expansion doubled to 28,800 MTPA, project cost rising to Rs. 235 Cr, targeting August 2026 commissioning.
A new Rs. 85 Cr steam power distribution project is underway using internal funds, expected to deliver Rs. 60 Cr in annual savings by selling surplus steam to local firms. This project aims for April 2026 commissioning.
The balance sheet remains solid with total assets at Rs. 2,275 Cr, healthy equity, and strong operating cash flow of Rs. 312 Cr. Capex and investments pressure free cash flow, but borrowings and dividends are well managed.
Filatex’s combination of stable sales, rising profits, capacity scaling, and efficiency projects support a positive medium-term outlook, contingent on margin improvements.
