Solarium Green Energy has announced a board meeting on the re-entry into solar module manufacturing with a new 1000 MW automated facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, at an estimated capex of ₹70 crore plus working capital funded 75% by debt and 25% equity. This backward integration aims to cut costs, secure supply chains, and boost margins by producing high-efficiency Crystalline Silicon Solar PV Modules using advanced technologies. Additionally, mounting structures manufacturing will be started at the Bavla facility. The move supports faster project execution, improves competitiveness in B2G and B2B segments, and aligns with growth plans in residential solar. Commercial operations target Q4.
