Marble City India Limited has announced a board meeting and disclosed the completion of a slump sale of its Tiles segment business, valued at Rs 9.5 Cr, to Mega Surfaces and Lifestyle Private Limited. As part of the deal, Mega Surfaces allotted 95 lakh equity shares to Marble City at Rs 10 per share, adjusting the purchase consideration. Following this, Marble City holds a 76% stake in Mega Surfaces, making it a subsidiary. This move strategically consolidates Marble City’s position in the tiles and surfaces market, enhancing its operational scope and shareholding control.
