Godawari Power & Ispat has announced a board meeting to approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company incorporated a new subsidiary, Godawari Education And Research Foundation (GREF), under its CSR initiative to set up a residential school. GREF is a non-profit with an initial equity of Rs 10 lakh (1 lakh shares at face value). GPIL holds 81%, while Jayshree Periwal International School or its affiliates own 19%, marking a strategic partnership supporting the company’s social responsibility objectives.
