BCL Industries has announced a board meeting approving a cash acquisition of 69.7 lakh shares in Pioneer Industries, boosting its stake from 4.36% to 19.57% at around ₹30.8 Cr (~₹44.18 per share). Pioneer operates a 400 KLPD ethanol plant and wheat gluten unit, with a turnover of ₹530 Cr in FY24. This strategic investment aims to drive cost synergies, leverage industry expertise, and deepen market presence in agri-processing. The deal is expected to close within 60 days.
