South Indian Bank has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The bank appointed M/s M P Chitale & Co. again as Joint Statutory Central Auditor and added M/s Borkar and Muzumdar as a new Joint Statutory Central Auditor, pending shareholder approval. The current auditor, M/s K Venkatachalam Aiyer & Co., will retire after the Annual General Meeting. These changes aim to strengthen the bank’s audit and financial oversight.
