Kernex Microsystems (India) Limited — New Orders, 13-06-2025: Bagging/Receiving of orders/contracts

Kernex Microsystems has secured a Rs. 311.03 Cr contract (inclusive of GST) from Southern Railways through its 60% share in the Kernex-VRRC consortium. The deal involves deploying the Kavach Train Collision Avoidance System across multiple Chennai Division sections, including tower installations and a 48-fiber OFC backbone network. The contract is split into Rs. 173.11 Cr and Rs. 137.92 Cr portions, with execution timelines of 730 days and 540 days respectively.
