Asian Granito India Ltd. has announced a board meeting to approve a composite restructuring scheme involving demerger, slump sale, and merger within its group. The plan integrates tiles manufacturing units of group companies into Asian Granito’s wholly owned subsidiaries, sells its marble and quartz business to Amazoone Ceramics Ltd., and merges AGL Industries Ltd. into Amazoone Ceramics Ltd. This consolidation aims to streamline operations, improve manufacturing control, optimize working capital, and sharpen focus on separate business verticals. For FY24, Asian Granito reported revenue of Rs 1305.14 Cr and profit of Rs 40.51 Cr. The restructuring is designed to boost operational efficiency and support focused growth strategies.
