SpiceJet has announced a board meeting on June 13, 2025, to address auditor changes. The company’s statutory auditor, Walker Chandiok & Co LLP, resigned after completing the audit for FY25, citing potential conflicts with providing certain non-audit services post their five-year term. To fill the vacancy, SpiceJet has approved the appointment of Kalyaniwalla & Mistry LLP, a well-established firm with a strong presence across sectors. This change also applies to its material subsidiary, SpiceXpress and Logistics Private Limited. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming general meeting.
