Tanla Platforms Limited has announced a board meeting to appoint Mr. Sunil Ramakant Bhumralkar as an Independent Director for five years, adding nearly 40 years of expertise in auditing and corporate governance to strengthen board oversight. The company also plans a buyback of up to 20 lakh shares (1.49% of equity) at ₹875 per share, totaling ₹175 Cr. Funded from free reserves without borrowing, the buyback aims to return surplus cash to shareholders, boost earnings per share, and enhance shareholder value. Promoters will not participate in the buyback.
