Siemens has announced a board meeting to discuss the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company is part of a consortium awarded a Rs. 4,100 crore contract for India’s first High-Speed Rail project, with Siemens’ share at Rs. 1,230 crore. Siemens will handle design, installation, and 15 years of maintenance for advanced signaling and telecommunication technologies based on the European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2, supporting speeds up to 350 km/h. This contract strengthens Siemens’ positioning in India’s mobility and infrastructure sectors.
