Bank of Baroda’s credit ratings have been affirmed at IND AAA/Stable by India Ratings, reflecting its strong government backing, large pan-India franchise, and superior capitalisation with a CET-I ratio of 13.78% in FY25. The bank’s asset quality remains healthy with gross NPAs at 2.26% and a high provision coverage ratio near 75%. It targets credit growth of 11-13% in FY26, supported by solid capital buffers and improved operating profits. CASA ratio declined slightly to 37.82%, indicating some pressure on low-cost deposits amid competitive funding conditions. Overall liquidity and capital adequacy remain comfortable.
