BSE Limited — Important, 17-06-2025: Updates

BSE has announced a board meeting on the final settlement day (expiry day) change for equity derivatives contracts. The expiry day will move from Tuesday to Thursday for new contracts expiring on or after September 1, 2025, with monthly contracts expiring on the last Thursday of the month. Existing contracts will retain the current expiry day except for long-dated index options, which will be realigned as per past practice. Weekly index futures contracts will not be introduced from July 1, 2025. Operational details will be shared later.
