Abate AS Industries Limited has announced a board meeting on which it approved a 1:1 bonus share issue, effectively doubling equity shares from 7.88 crore to 15.76 crore shares of Rs. 10 each, subject to shareholders' approval. The company also decided to increase its authorized share capital from Rs. 95 Cr to Rs. 158 Cr, pending member consent. The bonus shares will be issued from reserves and securities premium totaling around Rs. 78.8 Cr. The 34th AGM will be held via video conferencing to seek approvals, with e-voting arrangements in place. Bonus shares are expected to be credited within two months post-approval.
