REC Limited — Important, 18-06-2025: General Updates

REC Limited has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Rajgarh Neemuch Power Transmission Limited, to develop transmission systems for evacuating power from renewable energy projects in Rajgarh (1500 MW) and Neemuch (1000 MW) SEZs in Madhya Pradesh. Post bidder selection via tariff-based competitive bidding, the subsidiary will be transferred to the successful bidder. This move supports REC’s role in facilitating renewable transmission infrastructure expansion.
