Hero MotoCorp has announced a new Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model for its VIDA VX2 electric two-wheeler, enabling flexible, pay-as-you-go battery subscriptions. This reduces upfront costs by allowing separate financing of the scooter chassis and battery through monthly plans tailored to user budgets. Supported by a nationwide ecosystem of 3,600+ fast-charging stations and 500+ service points, this initiative aims to make EV ownership more affordable and accessible, accelerating electric mobility adoption across India.
