Samvardhana Motherson International Limited — Important, 19-06-2025: General Updates

Samvardhana Motherson International has announced a board meeting on which it approved a joint venture with South Korea’s Egtronics to develop and manufacture power electronics for clean mobility commercial vehicles (EV and Hydrogen). The JV will be incorporated in India with SAMIL holding 51% and Egtronics 49%. Manufacturing will be based in India with global sales excluding South Korea. This partnership enhances SAMIL’s wiring harness division with patented EV product portfolios like DC-DC converters and onboard chargers, strengthening its clean mobility technology and market reach.
