Samvardhana Motherson International has announced a board meeting to approve acquisition of the remaining 25% stake in two Turkish subsidiaries, SMR Plast Met Molds and Tools Turkey and SMR Plast Met Automotive Tec Turkey, fully consolidating these under its Vision Systems Division. These entities manufacture injection moulded parts and sub-assemblies for mirrors and lighting systems and reported combined revenues of EUR 27.3 million in FY24-25. The acquisition for EUR 3.225 million will strengthen Motherson’s manufacturing footprint in Turkey and enhance future growth potential. Completion is expected by Q2 FY26.
