Tata Motors has announced a successful 80th Annual General Meeting held through video conferencing. All resolutions including adoption of the financial results, dividend declaration, director appointments and re-appointments, appointment of secretarial and branch auditors, as well as 18 material related party transactions mainly involving subsidiaries and associates, were approved by shareholders with overwhelming majority. Notably, Mr. Natarajan Chandrasekaran was re-appointed as Director, Mr. Guenter Karl Butschek appointed as Independent Director, and Mr. Kosaraju Veerayya Chowdary re-appointed for a second term as Independent Director. The company also acknowledged the passing of Chairman Emeritus Ratan N Tata and outlined the upcoming demerger plans for the commercial vehicles business within the year.
