United Spirits Limited — Others, 21-06-2025: Shareholders meeting

United Spirits has announced a board meeting to approve the appointment of Mr. Praveen Someshwar as Managing Director and CEO for five years from April 2025, with a total cost to company of INR 14.12 Cr per annum including basic salary of INR 4.7 Cr and target annual incentives of INR 5.92 Cr. He was also appointed as a Director. The shareholders approved both appointments and remuneration through a postal ballot with over 99% votes in favor. Mr. Someshwar will hold significant management powers and his remuneration is subject to revision within an overall cap of INR 35 Cr per annum.
