Seshasayee Paper and Boards Limited — Others, 23-06-2025: Shareholders meeting

Seshasayee Paper and Boards Limited has announced a postal ballot seeking shareholder approval for the appointment of two Nominee Directors. Sri Kumar Jayant, IAS, Chairman and Managing Director of Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited (TIIC), the company’s largest shareholder with 14.27% stake, is proposed as a Nominee Director not liable to retire by rotation. Sri Ashish Kumar Srivastava, IFS, Special Secretary of the Environment, Climate Change and Forests Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, is proposed as a Nominee Director liable to retire by rotation. Both appointments follow nominations by respective government entities, reflecting continued government representation on the board. Voting will be conducted exclusively through remote e-voting.
