Sona Comstar has announced a board meeting with key leadership changes and strategic updates. Late Mr. Sunjay Kapur was designated Chairman Emeritus, honoring his transformative impact in steering global expansion, electrification, and sustainability efforts. Mr. Jeffrey Mark Overly, an experienced industry veteran and independent director since 2021, has been appointed as Chairperson. Mrs. Priya Sachdev Kapur joins as an Additional Non-Executive Director, bringing a strong background in investment, luxury retail, and philanthropy. The Board approved amendments to the company’s core objectives to widen its focus across all aspects of mobility technology. Several Board committees were reconstituted to reflect these changes.
