LT Foods has announced a board meeting on June 28, 2025, to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year.

LT Foods held a conference call addressing the countervailing duty (CVD) imposed by the US Department of Commerce on organic soybean meal exports by its subsidiary Ecopure Specialities. Organic business contributes 11% to LT Foods’ consolidated revenue of INR8,770 Cr, with organic soybean exports to the US accounting for INR47 Cr in FY25 (0.5% of consolidated revenue). The preliminary CVD notice for 2023 shipments (INR50 Cr revenue) carries an AFA duty of 340%, significantly higher than the current 9.57% industry rate. LT Foods expects to reduce this to around 3% after representation, with final results due by December 2025. Management sees no material cash flow or earnings impact, citing limited exposure and plans to mitigate via Uganda facility and market diversification. No impact anticipated on 2024-25 sales or other product lines. Freight and Iran-related geopolitical risks are not affecting operations. Other income includes ~INR50 Cr in inventory management fees from one US associate, which will consolidate away in FY26. Management remains confident about resolving the duty matter with minimal financial disruption.
