The Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation has announced a board meeting held on which accepted the resignation of Mr. Murli Manohar Purohit as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer due to personal reasons. Mrs. Gandhali Upadhye, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India with 25 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Law, has been appointed as the new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective immediately. The Board also approved entering into an agreement with MSTC Limited to use e-auction services for identifying buyers to monetize certain assets in its Plantation business.
