Balaji Amines has announced a board meeting to approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year.

Balaji Amines delivered Q4 FY25 revenue of INR361 Cr (up from INR321 Cr in Q3), EBITDA of INR68 Cr with a 19% margin, and PAT of INR40 Cr. Full-year consolidated revenue was INR1,430 Cr, EBITDA INR267 Cr (19% margin), and PAT INR159 Cr, reflecting pressure from input costs and pricing. Key capacity expansions commissioned include methylamine, N-Butylamine, and solar power (8 MW), reducing costs and carbon footprint.

Subsidiary Balaji Specialty Chemicals' INR750 Cr greenfield project is on track for FY26 commissioning, focusing on specialty chemicals like Hydrogen Cyanide and Sodium Cyanide. Brownfield expansion targeting EDA-based products is expected in FY27.

Dimethyl Ether (DME) plant (100,000 tons capacity) awaits regulatory approvals; management expects 50%-60% utilization initially, scaling to 70% next year. Several plants are operational or under commissioning with focus on pharma-grade Propylene Glycol, advanced amines, and battery chemical-grade DMC. Volume growth of 10%-12% is anticipated this year amid a mixed demand environment with stable pharma and volatile agrochemical segments. Raw material price volatility due to geopolitical tensions is pressuring margins but the outlook remains cautiously optimistic with strong internal funding and strategic diversification.
