Biocon Limited — Important, 26-06-2025: Agreements

Biocon Limited has announced a board meeting approving the acquisition of 1,125 Optionally Convertible Debentures (OCDs) of its unlisted subsidiary, Biocon Biologics Limited, from Goldman Sachs India Alternative Investment Trust AIF Scheme – 2 (1,047 OCDs) and Scheme-1 (78 OCDs). The OCDs have a face value of Rs. 10 Cr each, with the total consideration approximately USD 198.5 million. This move strengthens Biocon’s hold on Biocon Biologics and enhances control over its subsidiary’s future capital structure.
