Bharat Seats Limited has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year ended March 31, 2025.

Key financial highlights for the quarter ended March 31, 2025:

- Revenue from operations rose to Rs 39,291.25 lakhs compared to Rs 30,639.17 lakhs in the previous quarter.

- Total income stood at Rs 39,419.42 lakhs, up from Rs 30,704.12 lakhs.

- Total expenses increased to Rs 37,906.23 lakhs from Rs 29,675.74 lakhs.

- Profit before tax was Rs 1,513.19 lakhs versus Rs 1,028.38 lakhs in the previous quarter.

- Net profit after tax increased to Rs 1,138.85 lakhs from Rs 759.34 lakhs.

- Other comprehensive income was Rs 17.64 lakhs, resulting in total comprehensive income of Rs 1,156.49 lakhs.

- Basic and diluted EPS for the quarter were Rs 1.81.

For the full year ended March 31, 2025:

- Revenue from operations grew to Rs 1,28,882.47 lakhs from Rs 1,06,681.62 lakhs.

- Total income stood at Rs 1,29,241.04 lakhs.

- Total expenses increased to Rs 1,24,851.43 lakhs from Rs 1,03,777.38 lakhs.

- Profit before tax reached Rs 4,389.61 lakhs versus Rs 3,358.12 lakhs.

- Net profit after tax was Rs 3,270.03 lakhs compared to Rs 2,505.44 lakhs.

- Total comprehensive income was Rs 3,275.03 lakhs.

- EPS stood at Rs 5.21.

- The Board has proposed a final dividend of 55%, amounting to Rs 1.10 per share, subject to shareholder approval.

On the balance sheet front, total assets increased to Rs 64,770.38 lakhs from Rs 50,525.41 lakhs driven by higher property, plant & equipment and trade receivables. Total equity stands at Rs 19,455.27 lakhs, up from Rs 16,682.64 lakhs.

Operating cash flow improved to Rs 9,614.41 lakhs, while investing activities used Rs 6,811.25 lakhs primarily on capital expenditure. Financing activities used Rs 2,528.21 lakhs mainly due to debt repayments and dividend payments.

Management remains confident of a favorable outcome on pending income tax appeals related to earlier years, which currently have demand orders aggregating over Rs 2,200 lakhs (excluding penalties).

The company continues to focus on capacity expansion and operational efficiency in the automotive seating segment, showing steady growth in revenues and profitability.
