ITC Limited has reported a resilient performance amidst inflationary and competitive pressures, with continuing operations generating gross revenue of ₹73,465 Cr and EBITDA of ₹24,025 Cr. Profit before tax from continuing operations rose 1.4% to ₹26,001 Cr, while profit after tax was ₹20,092 Cr. The Hotels Business was demerged into ITC Hotels Limited effective January 1, 2025, with discontinued operations posting a profit of ₹15,104 Cr including exceptional gains from the demerger. ITC’s FMCG segment delivered growth via innovation, premiumisation, and digital adoption, supplemented by strategic acquisitions in organic foods (24 Mantra), baby care (Mother Sparsh), and frozen foods (Ample Foods). The Agri Business scaled ITCMAARS to 2.1 million farmers and 2,050 FPOs, promoting climate-smart agriculture and value-added products. Paperboards and Packaging faced input cost pressures and import competition but advanced single-use plastic alternatives and sustainability initiatives, including a pact to acquire Century Pulp & Paper to expand capacity and enhance resilience. ITC reinforced its sustainability leadership with progress across energy, water, plastic neutrality, biodiversity, and livelihoods, aiming for net-zero operations by 2050. Digital transformation accelerated with launch of AI platforms and scaling of cloud capabilities via the Blazeclan acquisition in ITC Infotech, which itself delivered 13.8% revenue growth. Corporate governance reflects a balanced Board including independent directors; key audit matters included revenue recognition and accounting for the Hotels demerger. Dividend totaling ₹14.35 per share is proposed, and shareholder meetings will be held via electronic mode.
