Krishival Foods has announced a board meeting where it approved multiple strategic investments and loans to its subsidiaries aimed at expanding production capabilities. The company will provide a Rs. 2 Cr loan and Rs. 2 Cr equity infusion to wholly-owned Siddhivinayak Cashew Industries for a new state-of-the-art plant. It will also extend an inter-corporate loan of Rs. 25 Cr to its subsidiary Melt 'N' Mellow Foods, which is acquiring a 49% stake in both Hamma Foods (Rs. 7.4 Cr) and BVK Foods (Rs. 3.74 Cr), and funding their production facilities via loans of Rs. 14 Cr and Rs. 3 Cr respectively. These moves strengthen the group’s footprint in dry fruits, ice cream, milk, and bakery segments.
