The Bank has acquired a 25.18% stake in Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Limited (FGILICL) and signed three key agreements: a Shareholders Agreement outlining governance rights, a 10-year Trademark License with Generali Participations Netherlands N.V., and a Distribution Agreement appointing the Bank as a corporate agent for FGILICL’s life insurance business. This strategic tie-up enhances the Bank’s footprint in the insurance sector with corporate agency capabilities for six years, renewable every three years.
