Asian Paints has acquired the remaining 40% stake in Obgenix Software Private Limited (brand: White Teak) for Rs. 188 Cr, making White Teak its wholly owned subsidiary. White Teak operates in decorative and architectural lighting with annual revenues around Rs. 107-133 Cr over the past three years, though it reported a PAT loss of Rs. 45 Cr in FY25. This full acquisition aligns with Asian Paints’ strategy to expand into complete home décor solutions, enhancing its product portfolio beyond paints and coatings. The move strengthens its presence in the home improvement ecosystem.
