Kalpataru Projects International Limited — Others, 29-06-2025: Pendency of Litigation(s)/dispute(s) or the outcome impacting the Company

Kalpataru Projects International’s wholly owned subsidiary, Wainganga Expressway Private Limited (WEPL), has been engaged in an arbitration dispute with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The arbitral tribunal ruled largely in favor of WEPL, allowing certain claims and directing compensation calculations. NHAI challenged this award and later issued an Intention to Terminate Notice alleging defaults and claiming INR 351.46 Cr, which WEPL disputes. WEPL has responded with its own Intention to Terminate Notice citing contractual defaults by NHAI. Given the arbitration outcome and amounts due from NHAI, WEPL expects these disputes to have no significant financial impact and is considering legal options to protect its interests.
