City Pulse Multiventures Limited has announced a board meeting that approved the acquisition of Matrubharti Technologies Private Limited, an IT company providing a mobile app platform for online literature in multiple languages. This acquisition will expand City Pulse’s business into digital regional language content. The deal involves a share swap at a ratio of 1 share in MTPL for 12 shares in City Pulse, acquiring 100% equity of MTPL. Matrubharti, incorporated in 2015, reported turnovers of around Rs 8.85 lakh, 10.85 lakh, and 12.64 lakh over the last three years, operating primarily in India. The acquisition is expected to complete by September 2025.
