Karnataka Bank has announced a board meeting on which its Executive Director, Mr. Sekhar Rao, resigned citing personal reasons related to relocation challenges from Bengaluru to Mangaluru. The resignation will be effective from July 31, 2025. Mr. Rao appreciated his tenure with the bank and conveyed best wishes to the bank and its stakeholders. This change in senior management could prompt strategic or operational adjustments as the bank plans for succession.
