Digjam Limited has announced a board meeting outcome where it accepted the resignation of Director Parashiva Murthy due to personal reasons and appointed Dr. Ruchit Bharat Patel as an Additional Non-Executive Director. The Board also approved a Scheme of Arrangement to demerge the textile business undertaking of Reid & Taylor International Private Limited into Digjam. This consolidation aims to optimize resources, achieve cost savings, simplify operations, and enhance focused management of textile activities. The demerger will involve issuing new equity shares to Reid & Taylor shareholders, expanding Digjam’s share capital significantly, and integrating similar textile businesses for synergistic growth and improved profitability. Shares issued under the scheme will be listed on BSE and NSE.
