Hindustan Zinc has announced a board meeting to approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company reported record operational milestones with highest-ever mined and refined metal production at 1,095 KT and 1,052 KT respectively, alongside the lowest zinc production cost in 4 years at $1,052/MT. It contributed nearly INR 19,000 Cr to the exchequer in FY25, a 44% increase year-on-year, totaling INR 87,616 Cr over five years. Hindustan Zinc maintains over 25 years of mine life and increased metal reserves beyond 13 Mt, underscoring its strong industry leadership and commitment to sustainable growth.
