MMP Industries Limited — Updates, 30-06-2025: Press Release

MMP Electricals, a wholly owned subsidiary of MMP Industries, has started commercial production of silicone composite insulators at its Nagpur facility. The project’s total capex is ₹35-40 Cr, with Phase I completed and Phase II underway, targeting completion by Q4 FY26. Initial production covers 33 kV insulators with plans to scale up to 765 kV for transmission applications. The company aims to serve its existing aluminium cables customers and expand into new domestic and export markets, supporting India’s grid modernization and energy transition goals.
