Dredging Corporation of India has announced a board meeting to appoint two independent directors, Mr. Vinod Kumar Pipersenia, a retired IAS officer and former Chief Secretary of Assam, and Mr. Sanjay Panth, a retired IRS officer and former Chief Commissioner of Customs, Central Excise, and GST. Both bring extensive government and administrative experience, strengthening the board’s expertise. Their appointments, initially as additional directors, will be confirmed for three years at the upcoming General Meeting. Neither director holds shares in the company, nor are they related to existing board members.
