Godrej Industries Limited — JV/Acquisition, 30-06-2025: Acquisition

Godrej Industries has increased its stake in subsidiary Godrej Capital Limited (GCL) from 89.48% to 90.89% by subscribing to a rights issue worth ~Rs. 285 Cr. GCL, a Core Investment Company, holds equity in Godrej Housing Finance and Godrej Finance, with consolidated income surging to Rs. 1620 Cr in FY25 from Rs. 347 Cr in FY23. This capital infusion strengthens Godrej Industries’ control over its financial services arm, supporting growth in its non-core investment portfolio and enabling leverage on expanding financial businesses.
