Lloyds Metals and Energy has announced a board meeting on the completion of acquiring 79.82% stake in Thriveni Earthmovers and Infra Pvt Ltd for Rs. 70 Cr. This acquisition integrates TEIL’s long-term Mine Developer and Operator (MDO) contracts, adding 71 million tonnes capacity, expected to scale up to 123.9 million tonnes. The move brings operational stability with a service-based model less affected by commodity cycles, cost efficiencies, and growth potential in India and abroad. TEIL’s focus on green mining also supports LMEL’s sustainability goals while enhancing consolidated financial performance.
