Ashapura Minechem Limited has announced a board meeting to seek shareholder approval for regularizing the appointment of Smt. Surekha Sathe as a Non-Executive Independent Woman Director for a five-year term. Smt. Sathe brings over 35 years of IT experience, including ERP implementation and digital initiatives, having retired as Head of IT at Ashapura Minechem in 2020. She holds a Commerce degree with computer management certification and currently holds 1,200 equity shares. Her appointment is expected to strengthen the company’s governance by aligning technology with business operations. Voting will be conducted via postal ballot with remote e-voting facility.
