Hero MotoCorp has announced a new EV sub-brand, VIDA, launching the VX2 EVOOTER electric scooter in two variants: VX2 Plus and VX2 Go, priced from ₹59,490 (ex-showroom) with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plans starting at ₹0.96/km. The EVOOTER combines scooter practicality with advanced EV tech, featuring removable batteries, up to 142 km range, fast charging, and smart connectivity including remote immobilization and smartphone integration. VIDA aims to lower EV ownership costs and expand accessibility through India’s largest EV ecosystem with 3,600+ charging points and extensive service centers.
