Infosys Foundation has committed over INR 48 crore to enhance maternal and child healthcare in rural Karnataka through a partnership with Prashanthi Balamandira Trust. The funds will upgrade Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital’s infrastructure, including advanced equipment for NICU, PICU, ICU, diagnostics, and surgeries. This initiative aims to provide free specialized care to over 8,000 underserved women and children annually, improving access and reducing mortality rates while supporting healthcare training at the teaching hospital.
