Arkade Developers has announced a board meeting on the acquisition of 100% shares of Filmistan Private Limited for Rs. 182.95 Cr in cash. Filmistan operates in film manufacturing, distribution, and exhibition, with a net worth of Rs. 5.54 lakh and turnover of Rs. 18.87 lakh (FY24). This move aims to support Arkade’s expansion in the real estate sector by integrating Filmistan as its wholly owned subsidiary. The acquisition is expected to complete within a month.
