Godawari Power & Ispat has announced a board meeting. Its HT Steel Billets have received approval from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) for manufacturing Galvanized Fabricated Steel Structures, enabling the company to supply the full range of billets for transmission projects. This approval allows Godawari to produce galvanized structures in-house without relying on expensive market purchases, expected to boost volumes and profitability. Godawari remains the only Indian company manufacturing galvanized steel structures from iron ore to finished products, highlighting its quality and integrated operations.
