Bharat Forge Limited — Updates, 03-07-2025: Incorporation

Bharat Forge has announced a board meeting to consider the incorporation of Agneyastra Energetics Limited, a new step-down subsidiary formed through its wholly-owned subsidiary Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited (KSSL). Agneyastra Energetics will focus on manufacturing high energy explosives, ammunition filling, gun propellants, and rocket propellants, aiming to build end-to-end defence energetics capabilities. This strategic move expands KSSL’s business scope in the defence sector. KSSL has subscribed to 100% paid-up equity capital of Rs. 1 lakh in cash, making Agneyastra Energetics a part of Bharat Forge’s defence ecosystem.
