Dish TV India Limited has been fined a total of Rs. 12 lakh by NSE and BSE for non-compliance related to board composition and Nomination and Remuneration Committee composition due to shareholders not approving key director appointments. The board strength remained below regulatory requirements because of this and the need for prior approval from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The company asserts these issues are beyond its control and is actively working to resolve the compliance gaps.
