Vedanta Limited — Important, 03-07-2025: Updates

Vedanta has announced a board meeting on July 21, 2025, to review the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Operationally, alumina production at Lanjigarh hit a record 587 kt (+36% QoQ, +9% YoY), while Zinc International’s mined metal surged 50% YoY to 57 kt. Zinc India reported highest-ever Q1 mined metal at 265 kt (+1% YoY) but saw refined metal fall 5% YoY due to plant maintenance. Oil & Gas production dipped 17% QoQ to 93.2 kboepd. Ferro Chrome output jumped 150% QoQ on furnace restart. Power sales rose 11% QoQ, aided by Meenakshi’s new 300 MW capacity.
