Torrent Pharmaceuticals has announced a board meeting to discuss the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company is progressing with its acquisition of a controlling stake in J.B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, including a plan to acquire up to 38.75 lakh equity shares (2.41%) from employees at INR 1,600/share, totaling around INR 620 Cr. This acquisition is contingent on shareholders’ approval and other statutory clearances, expected to complete after securing control of the target.
