Centenial Surgical Suture Ltd. has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held through video conferencing, during which the company will seek approval for the reappointment of key directors including Managing Director Vijay Majrekar for three years with a salary capped at Rs. 14 lakhs per month and commission linked to profits, and Executive Director Devraj T. Poojary for three years with a salary of Rs. 65,000 per month. The audit firm Mahesh Chandra & Associates is proposed for reappointment as statutory auditor for a consecutive five-year term. The company has also proposed appointing M/s. HSPN & Associates LLP as secretarial auditors for five years. The AGM will transact ordinary and special business items including approval of audited accounts, director reappointments, and auditor appointments.

For FY 2024-25, Centenial reported revenue of Rs. 53.52 Cr with a net loss of Rs. 1.46 Cr, impacted by high depreciation (Rs. 4.25 Cr) and intense competition leading to pricing pressure and increased marketing spends. The company’s net worth stood at Rs. 30.75 Cr. The business focuses on manufacturing and marketing surgical sutures and has begun production of surgical threads and new medical devices. Despite challenges, the company expects 7-9% growth in turnover and profitability in FY2025-26 through operational efficiency improvements and new product launches. It maintains various quality certifications including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, and WHO-GMP. The board and key management personnel remain committed to strengthening competitiveness, innovation, and long-term value for shareholders.
